Volca Column Big

The VOLCA collection explores the raw power and mineral beauty of matter. Inspired both by the contemporary architecture of Carlo Scarpa and by ancient architecture, these light sculptures embody an aesthetic that is at once sculptural and timeless.

Each piece is unique, carved from a single block of alabaster whose natural veining tells a different story. Rooted in a poetic and mineral exploration, every luminaire becomes a work of art in its own right, carrying its own expression. Each object sculpts light within the stone’s radiance, creating subtle plays of shadow and brilliance that both reveal and suggest.

Numbered and signed, these lamps are true collector’s pieces, where mineral matter is transformed into luminous works of art.

The VOLCA collection is composed of three sizes of luminaires: VOLCA, VOLCA Column, and VOLCA Column Big.

Today, OBSCURÆ brings together around ten lamps with pure and timeless lines. More than a collection, it is an invitation to let the gaze wander through landscapes revealed by light — within a material that seems alive, shaped by the hand, the form, and the intuition of its creator.
